FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: this invention can be used for fabrication of bimetal rolled stock for fabrication of jewellery, souvenirs, houseware, etc. Rolled gold blank face ply is bonded by soldering with inner ply of blank rolled of some other metal. Face ply depth t1 is selected depending on inner ply depth t2 from the following relationship t1=(0.05-19)t2. Plies of blanks and solder are simultaneously pressed against each other and heated to 600-950°C. Plies and solder are held as-compressed and heated state. Thereafter, as-heated said plies are rolled by rollers to depth of 5.00-0.10 mm. Blank face ply is made as gold strip while inner rolled ply is made as the plate of metal of platinum group or silver or its alloys, or non-ferrous metals and their alloys, or from stainless steel.
EFFECT: possibility of production of rolled stock of wide mix and high strength.
