SUBSTANCE: method includes: sending the value indication information of the first hybrid automatic retransmission request (HARQ) process to the user equipment (UE); and if the value indication information of the second HARQ process is additionally sent to the UE, determining the value of the second HARQ process in accordance with the value indication of the second HARQ process, and performing data exchange with the UE in accordance with the said determined value of the second HARQ process. The base station and the user equipment communicate with the UE based on different timing relationships of the HARQ and the HARQ process values.

EFFECT: possibility of better support for the UE having different functional characteristics.
