FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method of caching server operating comprises the steps of: receiving, from the client application in user device, a request for the desired content, including an indication of the additional content relevant to the desired content and a probability indication generated by the client application. Additional content is predicted as what will be subsequently requested by the client application, and probability indication indicates the likelihood of that additional content will be subsequently requested by the client application; priority to transmitting a request is assigned for at least said additional content to the source server based on probability indication; a request for at least said additional content is transmitted to the source server; additional content is received from the source server; the required content, but not additional content, is transmitted to the client application in the user device; additional content is cached; the second request is received from the client application in the user device, including an additional content request; and quoted additional content is sent to client application in the user device.
EFFECT: creation of advanced server caching technology, which improves the performance of client applications when retrieving content from the network, especially when there is limited bandwidth.
