SUBSTANCE: method for producing symmetric alkoxy (organo) disiloxanes of the general formula [R1aR2b(AlkO)3-(a+b)Si]2O from alkoxysilanes of the general formula R1aR2bSi(AlkO)4-(a+b), where R1 is CH3, C2H5, CH=CH2, C6H5; R2 is CH3, C2H5; Alk is C1-C3 alkyl; a is equal to 0 or 1; b is equal to 0 or 1, comprising sequentially reacting the said alkoxysilane with sodium hydroxide and carbon dioxide.

EFFECT: increasing the yield of the desired products, does not require the use of catalyst and solvents, can be carried out in a single reactor without isolation of the intermediate product.
