SUBSTANCE: provided the production method of sheet or rolled material, including the application of the polymer coating to the initial film, having the support polymer layer and the binded with it non-polymeric functional or decorative layer. While the coating is applied, the initial film is passed through two cooling calender gaps, to the first of which the molten extruded polymeric material is fed to form the coating polymer layer with the thickness greater than the thickness of the initial film and its binding with the mentioned initial film. In the first gap, the initial film is covered by one of the calenders, with the first side of the original film directly contacting the surface of this calender, and feeding the extruded material to the second side of the original film.
EFFECT: reduction of the initial film deformation, expansion of the decorating possibility, the technology simplification and productivity increase.
