FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: installation includes a body with a chamber with a cross-section in the form of a rectangle, with flat partitions, placed upper edges on one level forming a multi-sectional compartment of gravity sludge, compartments for collecting purified process liquid and floating liquid medium with the corresponding nozzles for supplying the process liquid being purified and tapping purified process liquid, floating liquid medium and bottom contaminants. In front of the compartment for collecting the purified process liquid, there is an additional flat partition, which is blind from the top, equipped with a channel for removing the floating liquid from the layer on the surface of the clean process liquid to the collection compartment. The flat partition of the last section of the gravity sludge, placed in front of a blind above flat partition, is installed below the previous flat partitions. The height of partitions of the multi-sectional compartment of gravity sludge sequentially decreases along the flow direction, nozzle for the discharge of the process liquid is connected to hydraulic seal. To accelerate the cleaning process, the cleaned part of process liquid and part of the pure process liquid is sent to a mixer in which the jets of cleaned and part of pure process liquid are directed towards each other with an equal cross-section at the junction of jets, and then into the nozzle of the mixture feeding to the chamber through a horizontal slit diffuser with a width equal to the inner width of the installation chamber. In order to expand the range of permissible contamination of process fluid, in addition to using a unit with a housing with a cross-sectional chamber in the form of rectangle, it is possible to use casings with a different cross-sectional shape of the chamber (a trapezoid articulated with a rectangle, a ring or a part thereof).
