FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: anti-adhesive antibacterial coating for orthopedic implants is characterized by plasma spraying of a two-component anti-adhesive antibacterial biocompatible nanocoating on the surface of orthopedic implants of titanium and stainless steel used for implantation, ion-etched with argon. Nanocoating thickness is 9 to 1180 nm, containing spherical nanogranules of high-purity silver with a size of 4.5-9.5 nm with a continuous protective carbon tetrahedral diamond nanocoating applied to the surface, type of ta-C, with thickness of 0.4-1.2 nm. At that, at least 99.9% pure silver is used as high purity silver of coating nanogranules.
EFFECT: high anti-adhesive properties of the metal orthopedic implant prepared for use, and high antibacterial properties.
