FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: barrier fluid supply device to double mechanical seals multiphase pumping unit includes a reservoir for packing liquid pump with a safety valve for supplying sealing liquid, double mechanical seal with the chamber filled with the sealing liquid sealing liquid pressure sensor and the pumped fluid pressure sensor mounted in the suction cavity multiphase installation. The device comprises a controller which is programmed in the control program, wherein the controller is connected to the barrier fluid pressure sensor and a pressure sensor of the pumped medium to be locked to them with a certain signal initially predetermined increments of time according to the control program. The controller sends commands to the drive pump to supply buffer fluid to change the number of the pump revolutions and the amount of buffer fluid pressure.

EFFECT: reduced leakage of buffer fluid in multiphase pumping unit, increases the reliability of the double mechanical seal, which reduces maintenance costs of the multiphase pumping unit.
