FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method of road construction broadening comprises performing horizontal shear of the curb soil to a depth equal to the thickness of the existing coating along the coating edge by the motor grader, while simultaneously removing it to the embankment slope, cutting with a disk cutter perpendicularly to the coating plane or vertically to this edge to a width of not more than 100 mm, collection of edge wreckage fragments into the front loader bucket for recycling, pressing into the subgrade through the compacted bed course by a self-propelled pile-blowing machine before forming the coating of retrieved metal sheet piles in the form of a vertical "diaphragm wall", closely adjacent to the renewed edge of the coating. The lower pointed ends of the piles are inserted into the active layer of the compacted soil base to a sufficient depth, and the upper ends of the piles with lugs rise above the level of the horizontal bottom of the curb soil shear to a minimum height sufficient to arrange the clamp of the lifting mechanism. Then, soil curb and embankment slope are removed along the diaphragm wall by the motor grader up to the pavement bottom, the active layer of the soil base is made with recommended thickness, to the calculated value of broadening, with multilayer consolidation up to the maximum density at an optimum moisture content and all structural layers of new pavement are made of materials similar to materials of the old pavement by quality, thickness and degree of consolidation, providing lateral support for material of each structural layer by soil bedding onto the curb with simultaneous consolidation of the whole level. Step by step, after consolidation of each pavement layer by the pile-blowing machine, each pile is extracted by an amount equal to the thickness of this layer. After consolidation of the last pavement layer by 50%, all piles are removed completely, afterwards a new coating is placed adjacent to the old coating by plane of edge cutting. On the section of the planned road structure broadening with the curbs along the edge of the reinforcing asphalt-concrete curb lane broken stone bed with a width of at least 1.2 m is removed by a single passage of the self-propelled road harrow to a depth equal to its thickness, while simultaneously loading the unconsolidated material of the layer into the body of dump truck goinh in front of or behind the milling machine for transportation to the designated place. Then, a trench is cut along the edge of the reinforcing curb lane to the level of the top of the sand bed course with a wheel tractor equipped with a Bar saw, shifted to the left of the longitudinal symmetry axis of the machine, with one auger to the right of the saw, a passage in the same direction. A mixture of unconsolidated broken stone of pavement structural layer slopes and curb soil is carried forward and upward, where it is distributed by the Bar auger along the trench bottom formed by the passage of the harrow.

EFFECT: providing operational reliability of the given road section by the device of a diaphragm wall guaranteeing safety of the intense-deformed material condition of old road clothes base layers.
