SUBSTANCE: synergistic herbicidal composition comprises a herbicidally effective amount of (a) a compound of the formula (I)
or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof and (b) an imidazolinone, wherein (b) it is, at least, one compound or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof, carboxylic acid, carboxylate salt or ester selected from the group consisting of imazethapyr, imazethapyr ammonium, imazamox, imazamox ammonium, imazapic, imazapic ammonium, imazapyr, isopropylamine imazapyr salt, imazametabenz, wherein (a) and (b) are present in the composition in such a proportion that the composition exhibits herbicidal synergism and wherein the ratio between (a) and (b) is from about 6.3:1 up to about 1:100.
EFFECT: invention improves efficiency of undesirable vegetation control.
