FIELD: automotive engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle sliding plug door drive mechanism contains a vertical swinging column and an arcuate arm. The arcuate arm is rigidly connected to a vertical swinging column, which allows the door to move outwards. The vertical swinging column is mounted in the frame of the body in supporting elements with bearings and has on the upper end a rigidly fixed arm of its rotation with a hinge at the end. The hinge is connected to the rod of a linear cylinder placed above the door, the body of the cylinder is hingedly fixed to the body frame. The rod connection with the column turn arm hinge has a link and an additional arm hingedly attached to the rod and the body frame above the door at a distance greater than the distance from the hinge of the rod to the swinging column axis. The link is hingedly connected to the additional arm and the turn arm of the column. The distance between the hinge axes of the link is 0.8-1.2 of the distance between the axis of the column turn arm hinge and the swinging column axis.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the door drive mechanism.
