FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the designs of drives sliding doors of passenger vehicles. Sliding door of a passenger vehicle comprises at least one leaf installed in the frame of the door opening of the body of the passenger vehicle, a leaf drive mounted on the wall of the body above the frame of the opening, means for extending the leaf from the frame of the door opening beyond the wall of the passenger vehicle at the beginning of the rotation of the leaf drive to open the door and the leaning movement of the leaf against the frame of the door opening after the rotation of the leaf drive is completed when the door is closed, means for extending the lower part of the leaf, ensuring the movement of the leaf extended from the frame of the door opening parallel to the outer wall of the passenger vehicle when the door is opened and the closed leaf is fixed in the frame of the door opening. The means for extending the lower part of the leaf comprise a lower lever and a threshold with guide blocks fixed on the body of a passenger vehicle. The lower lever is made in the form of a flat base with a vertical axis of rotation and guide rollers mounted on it, whereas the axis of rotation of the lower lever is installed on the leaf and configured for rotation.
EFFECT: increased throughput of the door opening.
