CONTROLLER AS PART OF DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TRANSDERMAL DRUG DELIVERY Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61M37/00

Abstract RU 2633324 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: controller for use in a transdermal drug delivery device comprising a container and a reservoir configured to receive the dosage form comprises a body movable relative to the container. The pushing mechanism is movably mounted relative to the body and is designed to be pushable relative to the reservoir. The force-applying member is disposed between the body and the pushing mechanism, with a possibility of moving the pushing mechanism relative to the body. The locking mechanism is designed to selectively restrict and provide relative movement between the body and the pushing mechanism. The locking mechanism comprises flexible arches extending between the opposite ends of the locking mechanism and is configured to provide relative movement between the body and the pushing mechanism in response to relative movement between the body and the container. In addition, the locking mechanism is designed, so that the arches release the pushing mechanism in response to reduction of the opposite ends to each other. Versions of alternative execution of the controller and a method for transdermal drug delivery device assembly are disclosed.

EFFECT: provision of controlled drugs administration for a long time.
