SUBSTANCE: terminal has a casing (2) of an insulating material and at least one spring terminal connection (11) in the casing (2) of an insulating material, at least one drive element (4) which is fixed in the casing (2) of an insulating material, is turnable and configured to open at least one corresponding spring terminal connection (11). The drive element (4) has two side wall areas (8a, 8b) that are spaced apart from each other and which, at least in part, enter the casing (2) of an insulating material with the rotational support region (14) and opposite the rotational support region (14) are connected with each other by a closure dam (5), forming one lever arm.
EFFECT: ensuring the optimum action of the forces of the drive element on the spring terminal connection.
