FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: suction device includes an open cylindrical chamber with end walls connected to the air duct. One end wall of the cylindrical chamber is made solid and common with the end face of the inlet channel. On the opposite side, the cylindrical chamber is open and equipped with a hermetically connected air duct. The inlet channel tangential to the housing of the cylindrical chamber is made tapering towards the air duct and is closed by the end face. The inlet channel has a rectangular trapezoidal shape in the plan with a base ratio of 1:5. The air duct through the air purification device is connected to a traction driver - a fan.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced material consumption of the device by eliminating swirlers, reduced noise level in the work area by placing the fan beyond its limits.
