FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the maintenance of diesel internal combustion engines (ICE) of tractors, in particular to cleaning from deposits formed during the combustion of fuel and lubricating oil, and can be used to improve the performance of the engine. A method of in-place cleaning of diesel engine of internal combustion involves cleaning the engine from the oil system side by adding monoethanolamine in a mixture with isopropanol to the motor oil that has worked out its life in the engine, removing of tar, asphaltenes, carbenes, carbides by means of oil purification integrated into the lubrication system, then adding isopropanol in the mixture with dimethyl sulfoxide to the purified oil, as well as the subsequent purification of the engine from the fuel system side by the addition of dimethylsulfoxide in diesel fuel in a mixture with white spirit.
EFFECT: use of the proposed technical solution makes it possible to improve the cleaning quality of the engine, as well as the composition of cleaning agents for cleaning the engine, to increase the efficiency of the process of cleaning of the engine from contaminants.
