FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to reconditioning of worn-out metal surfaces, mainly in pairs of friction between cylinder-and-piston and crank-and-rod group of internal combustion engines. Performing preliminary diagnostics of wear value and evaluation of expediency of parts repair-in-place. Reclamation process is carried out at the engine operating load using a process medium containing a reclamation composition in the form of a powder mixture of natural minerals of a subclass of layered silicates of rheumatics and olivine, as well as graphite, calcite and schungite in given amounts. Powder mixture is introduced into the process medium at rate of 0.5 g of dry powder per 1 l of the base engine oil. Estimated amount of reclamation composition is introduced into ICE oil system in the form of suspension in 30–70 ml of base motor oil, mixed with design amount of cleaning preparation containing iodobenzene, isoamyl alcohol, potassium tertbutylate and tetrabutoxysilane.
EFFECT: inventions simplify procedure for recovery of worn-out friction surface due to combination of cleaning and surface restoration operations with simultaneous improvement of quality of formed coating having high tribotechnical characteristics and wear resistance.
