FIELD: rescue work.

SUBSTANCE: free-fall lifeboat for emergency personnel evacuation from offshore facilities in ice conditions includes a hull and a shock-absorbing system of impact load reduction. The hull is made of a fire-resistant material, and the shock-absorbing system of impact load reduction is made in the form of a cushion. The lifeboat is equipped with jet propeller nozzles, installed alongside, and high-pressure cylinders, located in or on the hull of the boat, connected to the propeller nozzles by means of pipelines with controlled valves. The lifeboat is additionally equipped with retractable wings on both sides, aero-rudders and two hydroskies, a turboprop propeller. The hull contains a niche that is bounded by a foremost redan, side keels and stern pull-out ramp. The pipelines with controlled valves are also connected to the niche. The side keels of the lifeboat are equipped with lateral air paths.

EFFECT: contact of the lifeboat with ice, safe for the personnel when dropping it from offshore facilities and its independent movement on ice to leave the dangerous zone in various motion modes.
