SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and production of minerals on the sea shelf, concerns the issue of providing evacuation and rescue of personnel of offshore platforms and crews of transport and process vessels, operating in Arctic and Far Eastern freezing seas using lifeboats as emergency evacuation and rescue equipment. Double-housing lifeboat of closed type for evacuation and rescue of personnel and crew of sea objects in ice conditions contains light external sealed housing with bottom, which has concavity, drive-propulsion system, including abutting gas cylinders and associated jet nozzles-propulsors located in the boat housing. In the light tight sealed housing of the boat there is a strong tight housing extending along the boat, which is intended for accommodation of people rescued from the sea object, having in the cross section a curvilinear, mainly elliptical shape of the generatrix along the frames, which in the area of the waterline has disintegration.

EFFECT: guaranteed, safe evacuation of personnel from offshore facilities in ice conditions.
