SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding and concerns evacuation, rescue and survival of emergency offshore oil and gas facilities, transport and technological vessels in ice conditions. Lifeboat of a closed type is proposed for the evacuation and rescue of personnel from offshore facilities in ice conditions, containing a hull, engine-propulsion complex including the boats located in the hull, pushed-up high-pressure gas cylinders and jet nozzles connected to them via controlled latches, high-pressure gas cylinders are housed in protective containers and installed with the possibility of their dismantling, and reactive nozzle-propulsors are connected directly to the bodies of high-pressure gas cylinders. At the same time, the propulsion system of the lifeboat is supplemented by a propulsion device in the form of a folding rotary helm-steering column with a power drive.

EFFECT: proposed lifeboat allows for increased safety in evacuation of rescued personnel from offshore facilities in ice conditions.
