FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: coating comprising several layers of paint successively applied to each other, contains, at least, the first, a plurality of intermediate, and a finishing layer of a heat-resistant paint based on a polymethylphenylsiloxane resin applied successively on each other, with the first and each subsequent intermediate paint layers applied to each other with incomplete drying of the pre-applied layer, have one light colour, and the last layer of paint applied to the layers of the light-coloured paint has a dark colour, wherein the result coating has a total colouring in the colour of the finishing layer of paint with chaotic splashes of the first layers of paint. The heat-resistant coating contains four layers of heat-resistant paint based on polymethylphenylsiloxane resin, the first, two intermediate, and finishing, applied consecutively on each other. The first paint has a light colour, predominantly light-silver, and the second paint has a dark colour, predominantly black, with the addition of an ortho-xylene solvent or a toluene-based solvent in the ratio of 1:10 to the finishing layer of the second paint. The invention also relates to a method of applying the said heat-resistant coating, which consists in preparing a surface before coating, followed by applying several layers of coating and drying, after surface preparation, at least, the first layer of the first paint based on a polymethylphenylsiloxane resin a thickness of 2-20 mcm is applied, the paint layer is dried for 5-40 minutes at a temperature of 15-35°C, after which the second layer of the said paint with a thickness of 2-20 mcm is applied, then the said applied layer together with the first layer is dried for 5-40 minutes at a temperature of 15-35°C, after which the third layer of the said paint with a thickness of 2-20 mcm is applied, then the said applied paint layer together with the pre-applied layers is dried for 5-40 minutes at a temperature of 15-35°C, then the previously diluted second paint with a thickness of 2-63 mcm is applied, which is diluted with a solvent in the ratio 1:(5…15), after which the resulting multilayer coating is dried at a temperature of 15-50°C for 2-6 hours.
EFFECT: producing multicoloured and multi-toned coatings.
