SUBSTANCE: cementing method involves the preparation of a cement composition with a delayed setting comprising water, pumice, slaked lime, a primary retarder and a secondary retarder, wherein the cementitious composition with a delayed setting is contaminated with a cementitious impurity in an amount of about 5 wt % of the pumice mass or less; storage of a cement composition with a delayed setting in a flowable state suitable for pumping over a period of time of about 1 day or more; Activation of mentioned cement composition with a delayed setting to obtain an activated cement composition; Introduction of an activated cement composition into a subterranean formation; and ensuring the possibility of setting the activated cement composition in an underground formation.
