FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises of the steps of writing the code of the initial state of the combinatory memory device (CMD), assigning the direction of the shifts to the left or right, and at the additional input of the half adder, a constant logical zero or logical unit is assigned. When reading a specific code from the CMD and simultaneously with the signal "referencing" as an address a corresponding code of shift number is sent to the input of the control unit (CU) of the CMD and then to the readout counter. Under the control of the CU and in the presence of the "referencing" signal the number of shifts is counted by the readout counter and implemented on the CP. After the CU shifts "readout" signal is issued, based on which the necessary information is read out from the CP outputs. Then the CU is set in the initial state of the CP and memory elements are set for the next reading. For recording in the CMD simultaneously with the "referencing" signal a code of the recorded information is provided to the CMD. The CU determines the storage address of this information, which is determined by the number of CP shifts from its initial state using the record counter. The code of the recorded information is compared with the CP code. In the absence of equality, the CP reading is modified by one shift and they add a unit to the record counter until a comparison is completed which is the completion of the information recording process, after which the CU provides a code of the corresponding number of CP shifts as the address of the recorded information from the output of the record counter and at the same time a "record" signal.

EFFECT: providing the ability to quickly memorize and read arbitrary n-bit information.
