SUBSTANCE: woven blank for reinforced composite material can be woven flat and folded into a specific shape. The blank has a non-axial reinforcement with at least one protuberance and/or a base extending in a non-axial or inclined (not equal to 0/90 degrees) orientation relative to the main fibers/weft. At least one protrusion extends from the base, the base and the protrusions have at least two layers of base fibers. The projections may be parallel or angled to each other. The outer ends of the base and/or protrusions may have constrictions formed from the final layers of the underlying fibers in a stepped or inclined weave.
EFFECT: improved properties of the blank.
