SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing catalyst components for (co)polymerisation of olefins. Method of producing a solid catalyst component for (co)polymerisation of olefins CH2=CHR, where R is hydrogen or a hydrocarbon radical with 1–12 carbon atoms, containing Ti compound, Bi compound and electron donor on Mg chloride support; includes one or more steps (a), carried out at temperature from 0 to 150 °C; in which Mg-based compound, which is selected from adducts of formula MgCl2·nR1OH, where n is number from 0.1 to 6, and R1 is C1-C20 hydrocarbon group, reacts with a liquid medium containing compound Ti, having at least a Ti-Cl bond, in an amount such that the Ti/Mg molar ratio is greater than 3; wherein said method is characterized in that at least at one of said steps (a) Bi compound is dissolved or dispersed in said liquid medium containing titanium compound.
EFFECT: novel method of producing a solid catalyst component increases activity and/or stereospecificity during olefin polymerisation.
