SUBSTANCE: universal mulching device of a forest combined seeder comprises a frame 1, a hopper 2 with a dispenser 6 located in its lower part and with a ripper 3 also disposed therein in the form of a vertical shaft with ripping blades 4 located horizontally stepwise thereon. The ripper 3 by means of a gear 5 is connected to the dispenser 6. The latter is equipped with blades 7 with flexible springy hitches 8. The inclination angle of the blades 7 is changed by means of a screw regulator 9. The lower part of the front wall 10 of the hopper 2 is made movable and is spring-loaded. The dispenser 6 is driven from a compacting roller 11 with lugs 15 by means of a chain gear 12 with replaceable sprockets 13 and 14.

EFFECT: possibility to use loose, non-loose and combined mulching substrates, to regulate the amount of mulch to be fed to the sowing tape, and to cover the sowings with a uniformly thick layer of mulch.
