FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method of seed planting includes shearing of upper layer of soil and forming of planting belt with process track, forming furrows of certain depth and seed planting. Further seeds are embedded into soil at the optimal depth; micro-relief of the planting belt is leveled and soil is packed. When forming furrows, the surface of the planting belt is considered as a base surface and furrowing is carried out relative to it at a depth exceeding maximum depth of seed covering. While covering planted seeds, the surface of furrow bottom is taken as the base surface. Also covering of seeds to the optimal depth and leveling of micro-relief of planting belt surface are performed simultaneously by means of shearing upper layer of soil to both sides beyond boundaries of the planting belt onto the process track. The said layer is on top of the seeds above the level of the furrow bottom; and the layer is sheared at a space of the optimal depth of seed covering.

EFFECT: simplification of seed planting process and upgrading quality of seed planting.
