FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: press shaft of a roll press contains a core (1), on which a plate is fixed along the perimeter. The plate consists of segments (2) distributed over the perimeter with end faces (3). The segments (2) have tightening shoulders (5) extending along the perimeter on the end side and are detachably fixed on the core (1) by at least one fastening ring (6). The ring (6) covers the tightening shoulders (5) and is tightened on the segments (2) by means of tightening bolts (7) arranged parallel to the axis. The segments (2) are provided with a hole for tightening bolts which is located between the end surfaces (3) of the segment. The fastening ring (6) has clamping projecting parts distributed over the perimeter corresponding to each segment (11).
EFFECT: increase of press shaft strength and simplification of its installation.
