SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multistage centrifugal pump with a base (2), a head (14) and a wall (16) that connects the base (2) to the head (14) and surrounds the pump stages around the outer perimeter. In addition, the centrifugal pump comprises of an engine frame adjacent to the head (14) for accommodating an electric motor (20) for driving a centrifugal pump. The wall (16) in the axial direction extends beyond the head (14) and is connected to the motor frame.
