FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: estimating fire resistance of a steel sin beam is carried out without destroying by complex of single quality indicators of composite elements of a welded I-beam. To do this, geometric dimensions of lower and upper shelves, corrugated wall, scheme for heating their sections in fire conditions, magnitude of test load and the intensity of stresses in the sections of composite elements, steel grade, and thermal diffusion indicators of thermal protection materials are determined. The description of resistance process of a thermally protected sin beam to a standard thermal effect is represented by mathematical dependence that takes into account the influence of power stresses intensity in the section of composite element from the action of test load, the reduced metal thickness of composite element cross-section, and the value of thermal protection material thermodiffusion indicator. The design limit of sin beam fire resistance is determined using analytical equations.
EFFECT: possibility is achieved to evaluate the fire resistance of a steel thermally protected sin beam of a building without additional full-scale thermal impact, to increase the reliability of non-destructive tests of building structures, to reduce metal consumption for the manufacture of steel sin beams, to accelerate the testing.
