FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: temporo-parauralicular access is provided. Traction of the SMAS flap of zygomatic and buccal areas is performed in the posterior-upper direction, followed by rhytidectomy. Excess skin is removed, wounds are sutured layer-by-layer. In this case, after detachment of the dermal-subcutaneous flap and partial dissection of the SMAS flap to 3.0 cm, a suture seam with 3/0 monocrystal is applied over the edge of the SMAS flap with fixation to the deep temporal fascia above the zygomatic process of the temporal bone.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of neurovascular bundles traumatization, shorten the time of operation and the consequences of anesthesia, shorten the terms of patients rehabilitation.
