SUBSTANCE: method includes performance of hydraulic fracture of the formation by creating fractures around a wellbore. Cracks cause a hydraulic fracture system (HFS) around the wellbore. The method also includes forming a discrete fracture system (DFS) around the wellbore, based on the HFS fracture data. DFS includes feathering fractures with intersections and matrix blocks. The method also includes determination of drainage depth by means of the DFS, determination of production parameter(s), and performing production operation to obtain fluids from the underground formations, based on the drainage depth and the production parameter(s). The extraction operation may include determining the flow rate through the DFS, forming the DFS pressure profile for the initial time-based flow rate, and generating a production rate, based on the pressure profile.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of well operations.
