SUBSTANCE: absorbent article comprising a front region, a back region and a perineal region extending between and connecting the front region and the back region generally comprises an absorbent assembly extending longitudinally between the front region and the rear region and a waist portion attached to the absorbent assembly along the front region and the back region. The absorbent assembly comprises an inner layer facing the wearer, an outer layer facing away from the wearer, and an absorbent structure disposed between the inner and outer layers. The waist assembly forms an opening for the absorbent article waist when the article is in the wearing configuration and comprises an elastic laminate material comprising a body-facing layer without holes, clothes-facing layer with holes, and an elastic layer disposed between the body-facing layer and the clothes-facing layer.
