SUBSTANCE: disclosed are absorbent articles and methods of manufacturing absorbent articles. According to one embodiment, an absorbent article may have a body including an elasticized front waist panel and elasticized back waist panel material and an absorbent insert connected to the front and back waist panels. The front waist panel may have a garment facing fabric, a body facing fabric, and a lot of elastomeric threads disposed between the garment facing fabric and the body facing fabric. The front waist panel may further have the first front panel adhesive area having the first adhesive but no second adhesive and the second front panel adhesive area containing the second adhesive but no first adhesive. The back waist panel may contain the same components and adhesive areas as the front waist panel. The absorbent panel can also be attached to the front waist panel and the back waist panel.
EFFECT: protection against leaks.
