SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a material for manufacturing anodes of lithium-ion batteries, containing particles of graphene carbon obtained thermally from carbon-containing precursor materials subjected heated in the thermal zone to a temperature of at least 1000°C. The lithium-ion battery is also proposed. It comprises an anode made of claimed material which includes a mixture of metal particles which can react with lithium, namely Si and/or Sn, as well as particles of graphene carbon and a binder.

EFFECT: increased energy capacity and cyclability of the battery.
