FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of coating on electroconductive substrates by electrodeposition of compositions including graphene carbon particles and resin. Method for electrodeposition of coating on substrate includes immersing electrically conductive substrate in electrodeposited composition, wherein the substrate serves as an electrode in an electrical circuit including an electrode and a counter electrode immersed into the composition, the coating is deposited on or on top of at least a portion of the substrate while passing electric current between the electrodes. Electrodeposited composition includes an aqueous medium, an ionic resin and solid particles containing graphene carbon particles and lithium-containing particles. Graphene carbon particles include graphene carbon particles obtained thermally, wherein the composition has a weight ratio of solid particles to ionic resin of at least 4:1.

EFFECT: achieving bimodal distribution, trimodal distribution, and so forth characteristics of graphene carbon particles.
