FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device contains columns which are parallely located and installed in bearing assemblies with the ability to rotate. Simplifying the design, reducing the dimensions by eliminating the mechanism for transporting the cylindrical profiles along the rolling axis is ensured due to the fact that the fork-shaped levers are rigidly fixed on the columns, on which supporting rollers are rotatably mounted by means of axes and bearings. Each column is made hollow, inside which a shaft is mounted on bearing assemblies. At one end of the shaft a sprocket is fixed, and on the axis of the supporting roller a chain sprocket is fixed connecting the drive shaft to the axis of the supporting roller. The other end of the shaft of each column is provided with a rotation drive including a reduction gear and an electric motor. On the columns gear synchronous sectors are fixed, having a drive from power cylinders.
EFFECT: simplified design of the device, reduced power consumption, material consumption and increased reliability of its operation.
