FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: combined baler/bale packer includes a baler mounted on the chassis and a baler packer located behind the baler. The bale packer comprises a pair of first and second bales supporting rollers for supporting and rotating the bale around the first packing axis. A pair of devices issuing wrapping film is supported on a support ring that rotates about the second packing axis. The wrapping film is fed to the bale which is rotated by the first and second bale supporting rollers. The first bale supporting roller is supported on the transfer element rotating around the transferring rotary axis from the first state to the second state for transferring the bale to the bale packer. The first bale supporting roller is pushed in the downward direction to maximize the free space available to the bale, when the bale is transferred by the transferring element to the bale packer.
EFFECT: efficient wrapping of bales.
