FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device contains a vertical cylindrical body, a horizontal annular partition dividing the body volume into the lower and upper chambers, connected together by a central pipe with a bell on the upper end, a vapour-liquid mixture supply unit, a steam discharge line installed coaxially with the central pipe, liquid discharge located in the chambers of the hull, a swirler located in the lower chamber and fixed to the pipeline for vapour removal. The unit of vapour-liquid mixture supply is made in the form of two coaxially installed cylindrical shells, one of which is located on the outer surface of the body and is connected to it by hermetically sealed caps, the second shell is located inside the body with a clearance to its surface and is rigidly connected to it by the upper end of ring insert, unit of receiving the vapour-liquid mixture contains at least two tangential nozzles for supplying the vapour-liquid mixture, fixed on both sides of cylindrical shell located on the outer surface of the body.
EFFECT: increase in the surface area with which vapor bubble separation takes place and improvement in the uniformity of distribution of vapour-liquid mixture over the device cross section.
