FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a surface-adhesive composition (versions) and to a method for removing a surface-adhesive structure containing surface coatings and/or packaging labels. Such compositions, surface coatings and/or labels are intended to improve the recyclability for reuse of the plastic products. The products are made from any suitable polymer or blend of polymers (such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), high density polyethylene (HDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), low density polyethylene (LDPE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), or all other types of plastics), or even glass bottles. The method for removing the adhesive composition includes directions for processing the product from the surface-adhesive structure and treating the product with a solution to detach the surface coatings and/or packaging labels from the plastic product that is recyclable for reuse.
EFFECT: improving the surface-adhesive coating or labels, providing a productive and economical process of recycling for the reuse of plastic or polymer products.
