FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the preparation of a super concentrate composition and a concentrate itself based on cobalt transition metal, a compacted composition based on cobalt transition metal, and to a method of producing compacted pellets of cobalt transition metal. The super concentrate composition contains a polymeric carrier, for example, a polyester, and cobalt dispersed in the polymer carrier. The compacted composition comprises an oxygen absorber and the said super concentrate composition dispersed in the oxygen absorber. Compacted pellets of cobalt transition metal is produced by extrusion of the super concentrate composition, processing the extrudate with the provision of the shape in the form of particles by grinding or triturating. Subsequent compaction of individual pellets from a homogeneous mixture.

EFFECT: reduction of oxidative damage in the presence of oxygen.
