FIELD: electricity-producing industry.
SUBSTANCE: system, which uses Rankine cycle, is designed with a possibility of waste heat transformation into the mechanical and/or electrical energy. The system has a new elements configuration of the traditional system, which uses Rankine cycle: of pipelines, channels, heaters, expansion engines, heat-exchangers, capacitors and pumps in order to provide the more efficient energy recovery from waste heat source. In respect of one aspect, the offered system is implemented in such a way that three different flows of the condensed actuating fluid medium are used at different stages of the recovery cycle. The first flow of the condensed actuating fluid medium vaporizes by dint of the expanded first flow of the vaporized actuating fluid medium, the second flow of the condensed actuating fluid medium absorbs heat from the expanded second flow of the vaporized actuating fluid medium, and the third flow of the condensed actuating fluid medium removes heat direct from the flow with waste heat. The system, which uses Rankine cycle, is designed with a possibility of using the supercritical carbon dioxide in the capacity of the actuating fluid medium.
EFFECT: waste heat conversion efficiency upgrading.
