SUBSTANCE: in a spiral winding device for a production line for producing composite reinforcement, including a creel with roving spools, a levelling device, an annealing chamber, an impregnating bath with a tensioner, a squeezing device, a forming unit, a spiral winding device of two units arranged one behind the other, successively mounted, each of which includes a winding tow coil with a yarn guide, polymerization chambers, a pulling device, a cutting unit and a winding unit, each spiral winding unit is made in the form of a pipe of circular cross-section for advancing the tow and of a length not less than one and a half lengths of the winding tow coil installed in bearings, the pipe on the one side is connected to an electric motor drive through a chain transmission, and at the opposite end of the pipe, there is a yarn guide with an eyelet at a distance C from the pipe axis, where Rmax≤C≤Rmax+50, where Rmax is the maximum packing radius of the winding tow, and the winding tow coil is fixed coaxially with the main pipe on bearings mounted on the outer pipe surface with the possibility of free rotation, and is rigidly connected to a half-coupling with the ability to be connected to the other half-coupling located on the main pipe, the main pipes of the winding units being located at a distance C≤H≤C+20 mm from each other.

EFFECT: increasing the composite reinforcement length due to increasing the volume of packages with a winding tow on two coils and the continuity of winding the winding tow while improving the quality of the composite reinforcement by reducing the coil rise angle of the winding tow while reducing the noise and vibration of the winding mechanism of the production line and reducing the number of line stops, which leads to increased productivity.
