SUBSTANCE: in a working environment containing 1,2-difluoroethylene in an amount of, at least, 20 wt % and hydrofluorocarbon, in which the hydrofluorocarbon is difluoromethane, 1,1-difluoroethane, 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane, 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane or pentafluoroethane, which is used in a heat cycle system (such as the Rankine cycle system, a heat pump cycle system, a refrigeration cycle system 10, or a heat transfer system).

EFFECT: less impact on the ozone layer and global warming, superior performance of the heat cycle system, simultaneous preservation of the refrigeration coefficient, and improvement of the cooling capacity.
