FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method includes evaluation of raspberry plants introduced under conditions of the Republic of Komi, with respect to their relation to the weather conditions of the introduction area, assessment of response of these plants being in a phase of critical growth period in terms, including to diseases specific for this introduction area. The indicators of assessment of the plant response are used as winter hardness, overall condition, productivity and stability of the crop. Monitoring of small-fruit crop condition is carried out for at least 5 years to assess the raspberry reaction to a variety of weather conditions of the Republic of Komi. The raspberry response to freezing of shoots and buds is evaluated annually, and the varieties are identified, which have good adaptation after freezing on assessment of general condition, the varieties of raspberries are selected on assessment raspberry productivity index, taking into account the dynamics of indicators of the development response. The raspberry varieties are selected for cultivation under climatic conditions of the Republic of Komi, having the productivity above the average for the culture for the dynamic period of development, including those with medium and weak winter hardiness with a degree of freezing of shoots and buds to the level of snow cover of up to 3-4 points in the extreme winter period with a temperature of up to -40°C and below. At that the varieties are divided on stability of raspberry yield - the varieties with high and stable yield; the varieties with high but unstable yield; the varieties with high yield reduced after extreme conditions. For the cultivation those varieties are recommended which have high and stable yield - Kolokolchik, Volnica, Ottawa, Peresvet; the varieties with high but unstable yield - Gusar, Sokolyonok; the varieties with high yield reduced after extreme conditions - Zorenka Altaya, Samarskaya plotnaya.

EFFECT: method enables to increase the productivity of raspberry varieties adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the Republic of Komi.
