With the use of the computer processor, the data stored in the electronic form relating to the component is extracted. The power consumption of the component is estimated based on at least the stored data; the estimated power consumption by each component of the plurality of components of the computing platform is summed by the power consumption analysis module. The estimated power consumption is analyzed by the plurality of components of the computing platform with the power consumption analysis module. The power consumption analysis module is identified with one or more problems based on an analysis of the estimated power consumption by a plurality of components of the computing platform, and one or more proposals are generated using the power consumption analysis module to solve the identified one or more problems.
