THERMOFORMABLE COMPOSITION GENERALLY BASED ON BIOLOGICAL RAW MATERIAL AND CONTAINERS FORMED THEREFROM Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC C08K3/34 C08L67/04 B65D81/38

Abstract RU 2637022 C2

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: thermoformable composition comprises a) at least one poly-L-lactide containing less than 1 mol % of L-lactate units (PLLA) or at least one poly-L-lactide containing 1 to 5 mol % of D-lactic acid (PLA) units as a thermoformable resin, and b) an inoculating combination. The inoculating composition consists of α) 1 to 10 wt % of at least one poly-D-lactide containing less than 1 mole % of L-lactic acid (PDLA), units, based on the total amount of thermoformable resin a), as component α 1) or 0.5 to 5 wt % of PLLA/PDLA or PLA/PDLA stereocomplex crystallites, preferably at a molar ratio of 1:1, as component α 2), β) 0.1 to 25 wt % of an inorganic inoculating agent, preferably talc, based on the total amount of thermoformable resin α) and γ) 0.1 to 30 wt % of at least one inorganic filler with a layered structure, preferably a layered clay mineral, based on the total amount of thermoformable resin a) thermoformable, optionally biodegradable, containers based essentially on biological raw materials are obtained by formation from said thermoformable composition.

EFFECT: invention allows to obtain thermoformable compositions that guarantee a crystallization rate ensuring the usual short processing times, production of food thermoformable containers that are characterized by high mechanical properties at high temperatures.
