FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition in the form of a dispersion, a method for manufacturing the above composition, as well as its use in various fields of practical applications such as adhesives, binders, molded articles, and for practical applications related to building construction. A composition is described in the form of a dispersion containing one or more dispersing agents, as well as lignin, in which the average particle size of the above lignin is from 100 nm to 2000 nm and in which the above dispersing agents have a solubility parameter of 18 to 30 MPa1/2 and a viscosity ranging of 15 mPas to 20,000 mPas. The use of the composition, the method of manufacturing the composition, the composition in the form of a dispersion, the method of manufacturing foam plastic, foam plastic, and the use of foam plastic are also described.
EFFECT: simple, low-cost method of manufacturing sub-micron or nanometer-sized lignin particles is developed that is suitable for the manufacture of industrial products, in which such powders can be effective.
