SUBSTANCE: layout of the terminal block has a mounting bar (2) and modules (3), which can be mounted on the mounting bar (2) one by one in a row. The modules (3) have an insulating housing (4), with each of the housings (4) and mounting bar (2) have devices designed to insert modules (3) into the mounting bar (2) transverse relative to the longitudinal direction of the mounting bar (2). Hereby the distribution unit (1) has the first and the second support (5, 6) for the mounting bar (2), available at a distance from one another on the support base (7), while the mounting bar (2) has the connecting parts (8, 9), formed at their opposite narrow ends, with snaps (10), which can be released when the user clicks them towards the free end of the mounting bar (2) with a tool or finger and which are moved to the holding position. The mounting bar (2) is made as an elongated bar-like rod, which has two rectangular wide plates (11, 12) with long faces, connected with two rectangular narrow plates (13, 14) with short faces, while the long edges (15) of the wide plates (11, 12) and the narrow edges (16) of the narrow plates (12, 13) define two narrow side sections (17, 18) with long faces. The two wide plates (11, 12) are fastened together by an elongated jumper (19) extending from the first narrow plate (13) to the other narrow plate (14) in a zigzag manner.

EFFECT: creation of a new type of the distribution unit in which the amount of material of the mounting bar has been reduced to a very small amount with the provision of high functional strength and compact geometry.
