FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: lubrication method involves regular application of elastic lubricant on the teeth side surfaces and performance of forced return of lubricant displaced during operation by means of lubricant-returning plates in periods between the applications. Pressing of plates arranged at the toothed rim of each gear in all said periods is carried out discretely, during one complete revolution of this gear. The number of presses per one period is set according to the mode of operation of this gear in the train. For the remaining time of the period all plates are forced to release from the ends of the teeth, turning brackets with plates about its axis in directions opposite to the directions of gear rotation, in which said plates are installed, and by angles, which provide formation of gaps between the plates and lubricating material displaced to the ends of the teeth, and the brackets are secured in this position. The plates are pressed against the ends of the teeth by rotating the brackets with plates in reverse directions by the same angles, with subsequent fastening of brackets till the next release of plates.
EFFECT: increase quality of gearing lubrication process.
